Dansant Dans Le Noir
This artwork, Dansant dans le noir, is inspired by my recently passed Mother and her love of ballet. Mum loved to dance, watch ballet and even drew the most exquisite ballerinas expressing their faces in particular detail.
I was delighted and most honoured to have won the Mornington Art Show - Best Exhibit any medium, in January 2023 with this painting. It is with much sadness that I didn’t get to share this great news with mum. This is one of two ballerina artworks recently completed, the other entitled Dancing in the Moonlight.
